Welcome to the JDW Book Club!
Join us for every read or just the books you’re interested in!
Join us as we read and discuss Life of the Beloved by Henri Nouwen.
We will meet on Tuesday, January 6th, 7-8:30PM(please note the slight switch in time for this one meeting) in Doran Hall, to discuss Life of the Beloved by Henri Nouwen.
Life of the Beloved is a spiritual guide explaining how to live a meaningful life in a secular world, centered on the core truth that everyone is unconditionally loved by God, even in brokenness; it challenges readers to claim this identity by embracing being "taken, blessed, broken, and given," transforming daily life and decisions through deep listening and vulnerability to God's presence, moving beyond mere religious duty to an intimate experience of divine love.
The JDW Book Club usually meets every other Tuesday from 6:30pm-8pm in Doran Hall.
